Dear Sister:

President Young is absent from home, and I have read your letter to President Smith, who thinks that though you may have to put up with some vexations and inconveniences through your husband's mission to the Indians, inasmuch as you are his wife, and he is doing a good work, you should not permit the evil powers make you believe that you cannot love him, but do your best and remain with your children. As to the position you refer to as desiring to fulfil, bro Smith knows of no vacancy at present.

Yours truly
Geo Reynolds
Clerk to Prest. Young
