Dear Sir:
In reply to your favor to President B. Young, who is now absent from home, I have mailed to your address a pamphlet which will answer many of your enquiries; but will add thereto, that all who with faith in God, and in His Son, our Savior, and with sincere repentance for past errors will be baptized by one having authority, are considered worthy of becoming members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and may forever be held in its fellowship, by a life devoted to the service of God. The inducements held out for men to embrace the Gospel, are the same, now as in the days of the Redeemer, the hatred of the wicked, the sneers of the learned, the reproach of fools, but the friendship and love of our Father who is in Heaven.

Very Respectfully Yours,
G. Reynolds
(Sec. to Prest Young)
