Dear Sir: Your favor to President Young of 10th inst is to hand, and I forward by this mail a pamphlet which I think will answer many of your enquiries.

Any honest, industrious man, with a trade in his hands, can gain a livelihood in our midst. but such are not the inducements we offer to those desiring to settle in Utah, we desire to fill these valleys with men and women of like faith with ourselves who for conscience sake and the blessing of God are willing to bear all things, and endure all things Heaven may require at their hands.

Yours faithfully.
G. Reynolds Clerk to Prest Young
