Dear Sir,
Your favor to President Young has been handed me to answer. Trade here is very dull at present and broom makers have large stocks on hand which they cannot sell and the prospects to trade improving before long, is not very bright. I cannot honestly say that I think you could dispose of your brooms to any advantage in this market, still this Territory is as free as in any part of the Union for men to come and go, as they please, and should you visit this city this fall, you will then be able to judge for yourself.

Very Respectfully Yours
Geo. Reynolds
Clerk to Prest Young
