Dear Sir;

Your letter of the 25th ult, with One hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00) enclosed, has just come to hand.

Enclosed please find draft No 171 on H.S. Eldredge Esq 42. Islington, Liverpool, England. for twenty five pounds sterling (£25.0.0). The Draft is made payable to your order, it will therefore be necessary for you to sign your name under the endorsement which I have written on the back of the draft, and then forward to the party you wish to receive the money which will be paid to them on presentation of the draft
