Dear Sir
Your favor of 19th inst is to hand, and been handed to me for reply. The Bible of the Latterday Saints, is the same as that of other Christian communities--King James' translation. It is probably the Book of Mormon you desire to obtain, for that please address our agent in New York, Mr. W.C. Staines, Box 3957. P.O. New York City,--who will also be pleased to give you any information you may desire on the principles of the Gospel. All who with faith in God, and in His son Jesus Christ, and with a true repentance for past sins, will come forward and request baptism by <of> one having authority to act in the ordinances of the Church of Christ, are considered worthy of our fellowship, and may for continue to be so considered, by living a life in accord with the revelations of God.

Very Respectfully Yours
Geo. Reynolds
Clerk to Prest. Young
