Dear Sir:

Your favor of 11th ult is to hand, and I shall have much pleasure in receiving the bound volume of the Trans-Continental which you have so kindly sent me. By the way I will here remark that the odd numbers of your unique little paper, which you told me, when I visited your printing office, you would send me, have never been received by me. I have not the least doubt but that you sent them, but fear they have been mislaid or misappropriated in the Post Office. Had I received them I should have perused them with much interest.

By this mail I have forwarded you a copy each of the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, Spencers' Letters and Voice of Warning, which with the books presented to you by Mr Cannon will enable you to form a very correct idea of the principles and doctrines we believe in.

I remain, Dear Sir, Yours Very Respectfully.
