Dear brother:-

Inasmuch as there have two companies arrived from England, and as bro. Eldredge (it is supposed) forwarded the money for them, to pay their thro' fare, it would be desirable for you to let this office know how much money you have that can be drawn for at once, as we are in need. I refer of course to the money that you do not have to pay to the U.P.R.

Very hot weather now. Enough will be raised, I can see, to do our people till another harvest.
