Dear Brother:

Sister Dorethea Boyce, wife of Thomas Boyce, has called on me regarding the treatment she has received for some years past from her husband. Please give this matter your attention, for if her statements are correct I think it would be best to have bro. Boyce provide her with a home. where she can live by herself, and where no gentiles will be crouded on her company, -- as borders or in any other way, to give the man a pretext for finding fault with her on the ground of familiarity with such characters. He should also provide her with flour and wood, which is, I believe all she asks.

Your Brother in the Gospel.
