Chester B. Bradley Esq.

Dear Sir:

The great majority of the people of Utah have gathered here for the sake of their Faith, the association of their co-religionists. Those who come here with other motives are generally disappointed, as there are other portions of the country where money can be made with much greater ease, than in this Territory. At the same time, all good citizens are welcome, in coming and taking their chances of making a living, but just at the present time business is very dull, and it would be folly for me to hold out inducements, to bring you here, which on your arrival you could not realize

 Yours Respectfully
 Geo. Reynolds
 Clerk to Prest Young.
