Dear Sir:
Your favor of 1st inst, to Prest Young, has been handed to me to answer. You enquire "what will be expected of us in connecting ourselves with the Mormon Church". I will say that all who with faith in God, our Heavenly Father, and with true repentance for past evils, will come forward and desire baptism at the hands of a servant of God, for the remission of sins, are considered worthy of the fellowship of the Saints; and may ever retain that fellowship if they will continue to serve the Lord, and devote their lives to His honor and glory; and He will sustain and guide them by His Holy Spirit even to their life's end.

If you will write to W.C. Staines Box 3957 P.O. New York, he being our emigration agent, will give you the information you seek with regard to coming to this place, or on any other subject regarding which you may enquire, as to the resources, developement and condition of this Territory.

I forward to you by this mail some pamphlets relating to our faith and doctrines, and shall be happy to give you any further particulars regarding the people of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that you may desire

Yours Very Respectfully
Geo. Reynolds
Clerk to Prest Young
