Dear Sir.

In reply to your favor of 15th inst to President Young I have forwarded you some pamphlets relating to our faith and history. Our Bible is the same as that of other Christian denominations, generally known as "King James' translation." The "Book of Mormon," is the history of the dealings of God with the people on this land from a period shortly after the building of the tower of Bable to about 400 years after Christ. By addressing Mr. W.C. Staines, our agent in the Eastern States, box 3957 P.O. New York City, you will be able to obtain one.

The price there, I believe is a dollar and a quarter ($1.25.)

Trusting that you will read these works, with an honest heart and an unprejudiced mind, that you may be directed to a knowledge of the truth

I remain, Yours Respectfully
Geo. Reynolds
Clerk to Prest. Young
