Dear Sir:
I have addressed a note to Mr. O.S. Davis at Omaha, requesting the terms on which the company would dispose of their land on the 'sand ridge,' situated between Ogden City and Kaysville. This land is almost entirely a desert, the little that can be cultivated will require an expenditure of from Ten to Fifteen dollars an acre, to bring the waters upon it for irrigation, and I feel satisfied that no attempt will be made to reclaim it until the title is secured. I shall be pleased to receive your views and ideas upon the
subject.

I remain, Dear Sir, Yours Respectfully.
