Dr bro:

Since 16th ult. the following drafts have been made on you:
No 202 £10 0. 0. Isaac Groo
203 33 6 8 Saml Impy
204 15 0 0 Thos Porcher

205 £13 6 8 Saml Impy
206 15 0 0 Hans C. Christenson
207 5 0 0 Peter Reed.

We have retained here Dfts Nos 203 and 205 because we ordered them to be emigrated by telegram to you to day. Charge to this office the amt. you pay them and send the Acct. to this office.

Since President Young started south on the 26th ult., I have been obliged, thro not securing sufficient of his signatures, to sign a few drafts for him.

It is expected that bro Staines will relieve you by paying the Railroad transportation of the next Company. If you are crowded to it, you should run on your Bank Acct a little, if they will let you, & they probably will, at a reasonable rate, rather than protest any of the Presidents drafts., but, I trust, altho we have never run on the Lpool office so much before without the ability to relieve it, that you will get thro' the emigration business this season without difficulty.

We have just received telegramic rumor of Napoleon's surrender to King William of Prussia
