A man by the name of Ashby writes to President Young that he is extreme circumstances in Mass. whence he has immigrated from England: As he states he has friends in Spanish Fork, President Smith directed me to drop you a note, asking you to see these friends and get them to do something to aid him if it be in their power, at any rate, to write him encouragingly: His friend's name is Jeremiah Murry, his address is Thomas Ashby, care of Thos Hill Needham.
