Dear Sir:-In reply to your favor of 15th inst, permit me to say that the population of Salt Lake City is generally estimated at about twenty thousand souls. Oour city is a very healthy one, and although we have no medical gentleman who devotes his entire attention to your branch of the profession, we have quite a number of skilful surgeons and physicians. If you were to address a note to Dr. J.M. Benedict M.D. of this City he would be able to answer you far more defenitely than I can.

Yours Very Respectfully
Geo. Reynolds
Clerk to Prest Young
