Dear Sir:
Your note to President Young is to hand. Permit me to say that most of the inhabitants of this Territory came here with a deep conviction that in so doing they were acting in
accordance with the requirements of Heaven. To such Utah is the best place in the world,
but to those who simply desire to make money there are many portions of the Union, where
wealth can be accumulated with greater ease and rapidity. I send by this mail a pamphlet
relating to our faith and history which will give a much better idea of matters and things in
these mountains than I could in one short note as also of the leading doctrines which we
believe God has revealed for our salvation and that of all mankind if we and they will yield
obedience thereto.

Praying God to bless you in your search for truth and lead you in the way of life Eternal

I remain
Yours respectfully
Geo. Reynolds
Clerk to Prest Young
