Dear Sir:

Your favor of 6th inst has been received. I have no doubt, but that, if it be consistant with your other arrangements, the people of this city would be much interested in hearing your lectures. There are several halls here that you could obtain without difficulty, and I should be pleased myself to aid you in this respect, were not other duties in various parts of the Territory urgently requiring my entire attention. Should you determine to visit this city, Mr. Little, of the Salt Lake House or Mr Townsend of the Townsend House, at whichever Hotel you stay, will take pleasure in giving you full directions.

Yours Very Respectfully
Brigham Young
