Elder Lewis Greely.

Dear Bro.

Elder Jacob Hamblin, writing from Santa Clara on 30th ult. to President Young says, "Bro Lewis Greely of Fairfield, Cedar Valley, was with me when I was exploring in the San Francisco country some years ago, he expressed much anxiety to take stock and settle in that country when it was settled. Now there is just as good as good a place for Stock, on the south and west slope of the Buckskin Mountains as I ever saw in the San Francisco country, I will assist Bro. Greely in selecting a ranch, if it is thought best for him to take his stock there." President Young directed me to forward you the above particulars
