Dear Sister. Your note is to hand. President Young a few days before its arrival told his halfbrother, Mr. Edward Young, who is likely to be in your neighborhood before long, to call on you if possible, should he not do so. you can write again, but any way the Church emigration for this year is closed, but will probably reopen early in the spring. Should you wish to make any further enquiries I shall always be most happy to reply thereto.

Sister Young, the first wife of Elder John Young died a few weeks after him, the rest of his family are well. Br. Phineas Young recollects the circumstances your mother causes you to refer to. President Young has gone south to spend the winter
