Your letter of enquiry Dated June 9th 1853, arrived on the 27th inst, and in reply, I have to inform you that Mr. Edward B. Bond started for this place, and came as far as Council Bluffs City, on the Missouri, but returned from that point to St. Louis where he now is, and is engaged in farming near the Suburbs of that City, and I presume a letter addressed to him at St. Louis will reach him. I have no knowledge of his particular circumstances, prospects or plans.
