Dr Bro:--

Your note of 15th inst. received, and in reply, will say, that there is yet $75. due on Harmon & Hopkins Account, which when I paid up Harmon I induced him to leave with us to offset and pay up any due bills <of yours & his> that might possibly not have been paid, and it remains that way yet, but I have promised Harmon that I would consider it right to hold on to it no longer, or not much longer & that I would feel justified in paying it to the firm shortly. I dont know how you & he settled your affairs connected with that contract, but he says you are owing him considerable Yours respectfully

T. W. Ellerbeck
