Dear Bro:-

Yours of the 10th inst. is at hand. With regard to the bill you allude to; if Bro. Pierce is willing to sign it, let him do so, and you can retain it until it is paid for.

My health continues excellent, for which I feel truly thankful.

Peace still reigns in our midst and our enemies are considerably crestfallen just at present. Truly the Lord is mindful of Israel, and if we are only faithful our triumph is sure.

Remember me kindly to the brethren, and accept for yourself my best wishes.

Your Bro. in the Gospel
Brigham Young
