Dear Bro:

Yours of the 20th inst. has been received. With regard to Bros. Nielson & Torgeson taking a mission to Denmark and Norway, respectively, we are perfectly willing they should, provided, they will take a two years mission, subject to the direction of the Presiding Elders in Scandinavia.

But if they wish merely to go on a visit, or to attend to their own business, we do not feel that it would be proper to give them a mission, but they are at liberty to go with our best wishes.

Your Bro. in the Gospel.
Brigham Young
