Dear Bro.

We would like to have you talk with Bro Randall on his affairs, and lend him some assistance, as he will doubtless require some one to speak for him before the High Council.

The question is on the equity of the transaction, not the strict letter of the law.

We hardly think the brethren will hold him to the strict agreement and take everything he has got.

We hope when you hear the merits of the case you will make an appeal in his behalf which may have a salutary effect.
