Bishop F. Kesler.

Dear Bro:

We have given the matter of the division of your property referred to us by yourself and Sister Abigail a fair and careful consideration, and we have decided that her portion should be equal in value to one third of the whole.

We estimate your property as set down on your list, approximately, at $12.000.00 a similar estimate would therefore require that she receive the value of $4000.00

We therefore recommend that you divide with her in that proportion, and that you make the division as satisfactory to all parties as possible, and place her portion in the hands of Trustees who will see that it is made available for the benefit of her family.

I would be much pleased if you settle this without calling on my any more.

Your Bro. in the Gospel,
Brigham Young
