Dear Bro:

Bros. Ephraim & William Shaw wrote me on the 30th. ult. with reference to the emigration of some of their relations from England and wished the answer sent to you.

If you will send us a list of the names, ages, and address of the parties we will forward it to Bro Carrington with instructions to try and borrow the means and we will remit to him when we receive it.

That is the best we can do now, as we have not the means on hand.

The amount sent by draft is not £50. but £106.6.4. The fare is as follows: Adults $94.00 Currency. Under 12. half fare. under 5. Three guineas. Infants 1 guinea on the ocean, by rail free. The guinea is worth now $6.10/100

Your Bro. in the Gospel.
