Dear Bro:

We think it best to wait and see whether Bro Morrell shall return, and have him sign the bill personally. In the mean time you are at liberty to marry the parties, and when the bill is duly executed, they can be sealed.

If it be true, as represented, that he has abandoned her for over 18 months, has neither provided for her support nor paid her any attention whatever, it appears as if he meant to forsake her entirely.
