Dear Brethren,

I am in receipt of yours of yesterday, containing the following proposition: "We propose to open the Theatre for dramatic and other performances, not less than twice each week on the following terms: To hand to you after every performance one fourth (1/4th) of the gross receipts free from all deductions, and with the remaining three fourths we undertake to pay the current expenses of running the Theatre. We desire to play on these terms on Saturdays 14th and 21st insts. and from the latter date continue until other arrangements are deemed desirable."
