Dear Bro:

We learn that it is intended to open a Liquor Saloon, or Trippling Shop in your Settlement.

We wish you to inform the parties, whoever they are, that if they open such a place we shall withdraw the hand of fellowship from them, and we expect the brethren to do the same.

All such conduct is a disgrace to any settlement of the Saints, and if we had our way, we would prohibit the sale of liquor entirely, except for medicinal purposes, and then only under the strictest management.
