Dear Bro:

Sister Matilda Petersen, wife of Ulrich Petersen, who died at Florence, on his way here, some ten years ago, represents that her husband loaned to Bro. Hans Nielsen now in Mt. Pleasant, the sum of 700 Swedish rix dollars to emigrate himself and family, and has never paid a single dollar of it. The sister is needy, and wants the money, she says that her husband took a note for the amount, but that she lost the note with other papers.

We wish you to look into the matter & if the thing is as represented see that the sister has justice done in the premises.

Your Bro. in the Gospel
