Mr. Howard Crawford,
Bedford, Westchester Co. N. Y.

Dear Sir,

Yours to Prest. B. Young of the 4th inst. has been received.

He instructed me to acknowledge its receipt and to say that he thinks your best course would be to consult our emigration agent, Mr. Wm. C. Staines, personally if possible, and he will give you all the required information, as to joining the Church, emigrating &c.

Our people have reduced rates when travelling in companies, and this way of travelling is satisfactory to our people.

Mr. Staines is a kind and courteous gentleman, His P. O. address is 3957, N. Y. City. His office is at No. 8, Battery Place, N. Y. City.

Yours with respect

D McKenzie.
