Dear Brother:--

Your letter of the 25th inst in relation to the purchase of Oats is received.

We are not prepared to buy Oats or Barley at any price; and pay cash at present; which would be the same thing if we accepted your proposition. At the same time we are anxious to procure all the tithing grain we possibly can for the furtherance of our Temple at St. George.

Your Brother in the Gospel
Geo. A. Smith
