The bearer, Hon. A. P. Rockwood, is visiting St. Louis by invitation from E. C. Wines, Secretary of the Prison Reform Association, to meet at their convention in your City on the 13th inst.
 
During his stay in St. Louis I have requested bro. Rockwood to visit you and the Saints there as his time may permit, and to preach as opportunity may offer.
 
Any courtesies it may be in your power to extend to bro. Rockwood to make his stay as agreeable and useful as possible will be kindly appreciated both by him and
