The first Naturalization paper of Mr. Johannes Anderson was sent to your office with his Declaratory Statement for the South East quarter Section 34 Township 12 North Range 1 West. He cant effect his full papers except on presentation of the first one nor can he get a duplicate in the Court whence he obtained the first and is anxious to become a citizen without further delay -- Any expense attending the return of the original or a duplicate thereof from your office, will be promptly met by me & duly appreciated by him.

He received his patent October 25th 1870 and is No 348.
