Brother Welcome Chapman,

Your Letter of Nov. 18th, arrived this day, and in reply permit me to suggest, that I think Sister Stainer rather too young to take a step of so much importance; and my counsel to you both, in this matter, is that you await three or four years, and learn what your feelings are then.
