Dear bro.

I am directed by President Brigham Young, to say that F. D. Brown's letter of 22nd ult. was duly received per bro Lewis, who returns this evening for your place. You will gratify by a continuance of your correspondence every opportunity the President, who I am sorry to say has been unwell sometime and health still poor. Bro Lewis and Hamblin have his consent, either or both to go with Walker & Sanpete to the Navajos, if themselves are willing, in the Spring.

Your brother in the Covenant
T W Ellerbeck
