His Excellency
A. Cumming:
Sir:
Being from home yesterday I did not receive your note till this morning.
It will afford me much pleasure to receive a visit from you and your friends, the Officers of the U. S. Army at present in the city, at 10 oclock this forenoon, if convenient to you and them.
