Elder Lorenzo Snow

Dear Bro.
I take the opportunity to send this by Sister Pierce who is about to return to her home in Box Elder after the burial of her husband.

I understand that the upper room in her house has been used for various public purposes, and that she furnished some cloth for the Military
As she is now a widow and will need some assistance, I will take it as a favor if you will see that in future her room is let alone for the family to occupy and under the circumstances she should be paid for the cloth she furnished. I also request you to see that she obtains her full share of the pigs that bro. Wight has had on shares, and in connexion with the Bishop to aid her and render her every assistance she needs in her affairs as far as in your power, and oblige

Your friend and brother in the Gospel
