Dear Bro.
Sister Mary Appleton called at the office this morning and stated that when she was in your ward last winter she let you have a watch for the military, with the promise that you would see to some of her affairs and get her steer back which had been driven to Weber Valley, her object being to sell it to obtain some few articles for her comfort, but did not get the steer
She is an old lady and ought to have both the watch and steer or be paid for them and wish you to see that she has her just dues. She is now living with bro David Evans 7th ward in this city
Yours truly,

Brigham Young
