Elder William T. Dennis,

Dear Brother:--
In reply to your letter of February 16th, I will state that, both from your letter and from all that I have otherwise heard concerning the question had before the High Council between yourself and br. S. M. Blair, I deem it best for you to comply with the decision of said council, at the earliest date possible for you so to do. When that is done and your health improved, should you still, at any time when in this city, feel anxious to chat the matter over with me, be so good as to call upon me and hold a frank and friendly conversation upon the subject.

I think you must be aware that it would be difficult for me to conceive that br. Blair did or could draw a "vail over the judgement of the council," or that they did not give their decision in behalf of justice in the case, so far as evidence was before them. If you adduce any important evidence additional to that submitted to the Council, in talking the affair over with me, at any future time suited to your convenience, it will afford me pleasure to give such further advice as my judgement may dictate.

Respectfully, your Brother in the Gospel

Brigham Young
