Sir
Your letter of Sept. 17 accompanying a copy of blank schedules, circulars, &c. is this day arrived.

The Mail which left this place the first day of this Month, carried a tin box enclosing a copy of the census returns for Deseret, which I hope has reached its destination 'ere this.  Never having received any Documents similar to those received this day, is the only excuse offered for not having every thing as technical as you could possibly wish.-Trusting that every thing is according to your wishes.

I remain
Very respectfully
Your ob't servt

Brigham Young
