To the members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the city of Saint Louis, Missouri.

This certifies that the bearer Elder Horace S. Eldredge is in full faith and fellowship with the Church of Jesus Christ of Iatter Day Saints, and by the General Authorities, of said Church has been duly appointed to preside over the branch of said Church in the city of St Louis and is fully authorised to perform all the duties of President in said branch, and we request all Saints in and about St Louis to give heed to his counsels and teachings as a man of God sent to direct and teach them in the way of life and salvation; And we invite the saints to receive brother Eldredge with  unanimous voice and pray God the Eternal Father to bless him and all who receive him, and minister to his comfort with the blessings of Heaven and Earth for time and for all eternity in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
