Elder Thomas Donville,
7th Ward,

Dear Brother:--
I am informed that your first wife is not living with you, and also that she does not wish to be divorced from you, but through inability to altogether support herself desires assistance from you. So far as I am acquainted with the circumstances I deem it but just and rightly for you to extend to her such reasonable aid as she may need, and trust that you will view the matter in the same brotherly, to say nothing of husbandly, light and act accordingly.
