Dear Brother:--
A few days since the second wife of br. Charles Nowland called upon me and stated that she wished a bill of divorce from her husband. You are familiar with the difficulty attending the proper understanding of a matter without hearing both sides, and I wish you, at your earliest convenience, to converse with br. Nowland and his second wife upon their matters of difference, and settle the same.
