Dear Brother:--

You are hereby respectfully informed that it is deemed advisable to have you go on a mission this fall, and to be ready to start on the 15th of this month. Please come prepared with provisions, team, &c., ready to start across the plains, at the very latest, by the 20th inst., as it is expected the company will begin to leave on the 15th and all be on their way on the 20th.
