Dear Brother:--
Since notifying you of your being selected, among a few others, to go on a mission to Europe this season, I have learned that your health on your last mission was and still is very poor, and the Elders in Utah are now so numerous, and so few needed to go abroad this fall, that there is not the least necessity for calling upon any one who would be in any considerable degree discommoded in going, especially on the score of health, you are therefore hereby honorably released from the call, bearing date Sep. 3. to go on a mission this fall.
