Dear Brother:--

From all I have learned concerning the matter, I deem it but just that br. Dunville should provide reasonably and comfortably for his first wife who has lived with him so many years; and I wish you to at once attend to the case and if br. Dunville still refuses or neglects to provide reasonably for her wants, see to it that br. Dunville gives her a just portion of the property owned by him at the time he took his second wife, for there is neither law nor justice, and certainly no mercy, in any man's turning an old lady out of doors to become a public charge, after having expended her best years and strength in his service as his wife,
