Bishop Warren S. Snow,
Manti, San Pete County, Utah,

Dear Brother:--
Br. Homiston's second wife has pretty nigh left him, and probably soon will altogether, as they do not live amicably, and he proposes visiting your place and tarrying there during the winter. Of course he will wish to live with his first wife, for he says that he loves her very much and that she loves him. It will be perfectly right and entirely agreeable to me for br. Homiston's first wife to get a bill of divorce and be sealed to br. Homiston, as they have lived together many years and would thus, doubtless, enjoy themselves better than in any other condition in this probation.
Matters, in the main, continue to progress very favorably.

Your Brother in the Gospel,

Brigham Young
