Bishop David Brinton,

Dear Brother:--
The bearer of this letter, br. Nathan Hanson, has talked with br. William G. Sanders about purchasing his (Sanders) farm. As br. Hanson has just arrived he is of course but little acquainted with quality of soil, inquiring into titles, &c., therefore I wish you would be so good as to look in to the matter and advise both what they had best do in the case.

Bro. Sanders, I am informed, has received a cow from br. Hanson, and if, in your judgment, the land is not worth what Sanders has asked, let br. Sanders return the cow to br. Hanson, unless the parties can otherwise arrange the matter to their mutual satisfaction.

Bro Robt. F. Neslin who has lately returned form his mission will accompany bro. Hanson
